I predicted 2-4 but I also thought we'd split the Yankees series. Of course I didn't fully consider the fact that the Yankees aren't very good, and more injured than we are.
I will settle for 3-3. If they go 4-2 that will certainly get people's attention. 2-4 is still pretty possible but we're not facing Bauer or Buehler. Still get Kershaw though.
I think it's clear this team is good enough to hang around, hopefully what we just saw was the low point and June will balance things out. I reckon they will be alive enough at the All-Star break for Dombrowski to do some things, and in some ways the NL East or bust reality is probably good, because there's a real advantage to being a division winner even in the weak division, and that might be worth trading for where a wild card is not.
