Waste of a great pitching performance by Eflin, the two runs were scored on three singles, none of which was sharply hit, the SF was the hardest hit ball of the inning. Only a few balls hit hard off him, the catch by Kingery the longest ball of the night.
Eflin is really turning into a top flight SP, if he learns to master his changeup (still a work in progress) he could be a top pitcher, he's developed a 4 seamer and cutter already. What I like is the way he attacks hitters instead of nibbling and gets ahead in the count, Pivetta was doing that his last couple games - both kids have big bodies and lots of strength - less about velocity than stamina in the latter innings and later in the season.
