i think the frustration is, as has been mentioned elsewhere here, this is where the team is after years of losing seasons and butting right up against the luxury tax line. The ML team still has glaring holes, and there's no immediate relief to be seen from the minors.
Of course, that's not to say some players won't stand out at some point this year on the pharm - as I look forward to them doing - but the sheer lack of forward movement from fringe contender for a playoff spot at the ML level, coupled with lack of standout MiL performers over the past few years has been disappointing.
