Walker was outstanding in relief tonight. Gives the other 7 in the pen a nice rest. Walker may become too valuable to trade.
Pretty comfortable game after the five runs in the top of the fourth. Sanchez gives up only one hit over the first six innings as he and Walker combine for the shutout.
A series win on the road.

You can't have a much better game than that. 12 hits and 9 walks; every starter got on base at least once. Gave up only two hits and three walks, and no runs of course. No errors.
Maybe Long is getting through to these guys, less chasing out of the zone, hitting the ball to the opposite field.They might even make a habit of it.
