We often struggle against pitchers we think they should hit. Phillies only hit was the first inning single by Segura.

I have to credit Velasquez for getting those two K's to end the fourth inning, but except for the one inning where he needed only 9 pitches, he has been well over 20 in the other three innings. VV starts the 5th but has to keep the Cardinals from scoring.

And a home run by Carpenter to start the inning. Clearly, Velasquez has to come out NOW.
