Knapp hit a foul down by the foul pole in right that had home run distance but just a little foul.
Second game in a row where home runs beat us. I think all the runs in both games came on homers. Four home runs in each game.
Phillies score 3 on 5 hits which I guess is making decent use of the hits, but they just came up with far too few hits tonight. They did force the Dodgers to go to Jansen or did they just do that to get him an easy save? Regardless, Dodgers use 4 from the pen to 2 for the Phillies.
Losing this first game in LA makes it harder to split the road trip or do better. I figured we had a better shot tonight than tomorrow but baseball is hard to predict on the individual game level, so maybe we win tomorrow.
