Eickhoff pitched well for the most part, but has struggled with his breaking balls the last two games, leaving curves and sliders up in the zone, and most of his HRs are coming off those pitches. This may just be a mechanics thing, at times he had that killer curve working and he spotted his FB well.
If he can get his breaking balls down in the K-zone he can be a key pitcher going forward, his ability to pitch to contact and keep his pitch count down allows him to eat innings as long as he doesn't throw too many lollipops.
