Bohm is not a problem and he's far better than Casty, he's just faded back from being the possible line-up heir to Hoskins and "third star" (to put it in NBA terms) that he was in April. Doesn't mean he's not still going to finish the year as our third-best offensive player (and even fourth would be fine if Schwarber's third).
His production made it easier to carry Castellanos and Rojas and lately it has not, but there's still no other options to ameliorate that. Unless you go defense-first - it would not be the end of the world if Pache played a few games in RF against RHP, he would likely still be a + player where a low-offense Castellanos is not, just as Sosa was over Bohm at times in past years.
We'll see what June brings. If this road trip and the tougher schedule leads to a .500 or worse stretch in June there will be a lot more pressure to make short-term fixes. Which could also include Rojas. The shake-out part of the season is winding down.
Who knows what Bohm will end up doing or being worth as a free agent. Six months ago I still would have said he leaves like Hernandez did (non-tender) and a month ago I would have said extend him (risky but you'd probably save money and just tack on one year). Right now I think andy's right, he's not going anywhere but he's not on the 2027 team as he hits both free agency and physical decline.
