He was having a pretty good season until his IL stint. 3.06 ERA and 1.160 WHIP. Better than any of our starters (unless you count Strahm) Still only 30 years old.
In addition, he’d be a decent late-inning defensive upgrade over Schwarber in LF.
Half the people on this board would be a late-inning defensive upgrade over Schwarber this year. It really looks like what little range he had has disappeared completely.
