Final
Beautiful win on a beautiful day for baseball. Winning streak at 2!
Manager is clearly a genius
Kimbrel is still gonna 'cause some more pain as the year goes on I'm afraid.
Having Harrison and Guthrie in the lineup is like conceding 22% of our plate appearances.
(Come on reverse jinx, wait, maybe I am not supposed to say that)
I mean, we used to play Ronald Torreyes multiple times a week. Matt Vierling wasn't even that good last year (nor is this year), never mind all the other guys who played at least one game in CF before Marsh came. It is always a huge downgrade when you give your bench players that one start a week. Just be glad they are the bench players. And check back on August 1.
Solid win to take the series. Phillies need to avoid the multiple loss streaks and win more series.
Great pitching. Walker comes through with the solid start and the pinch hit home run is enough offense. Kudos to Stott. Six walks is too many and Kimbrel gave me anxiety after two Ks but he gets the save and the Phillies get the win.
That Morel guy is a Philly killer.
Seems like he’s hitting the ball hard against everyone this year. It wasn’t enough today though.
7 home runs in 10 games. .381 BA. 261 OPS+
he's only 23, go get him. I'd give them Parkinson, cave and maybe Fergus.gm
