Herrera does make frustrating misplays but he still is significantly better than Quinn.

Moniak needs at least a month in AAA before considering him for the center field job.

The bullpen sent five pitchers to the mound tonight. All five failed in my opinion. Their combined effort was 3.2 IP and they gave up 8 hits and 3 walks.

So the team is 1 and 5 in the last six games. Clearly, the good play in Seattle and Los Angeles was the exception and we now see the return to what this ream is. A mediocre team struggling to get to .500.

Girardi said he was okay with sending Odúbel Herrera home in the bottom of the seventh, even with Harper coming up in the next at-bat.

Glad I didn't watch or even follow the thread on this one! (was on a plane).

Sounds like Herrera didn't do anything Bryce (or back in the day, Victorino) wouldn't do.

Is Joe gonna say it will be good to get back on the road again?
