Too close for comfort but it was the right play to go harder after Murphy.

Looking back, the way to go was to go to the pen to start the inning. Yet I do like to see starters given the chance to go deep into games. It's easy to second guess Kapler when the two batters Nola faced in the 7th inning both hit the ball off the wall in right.

Nice job by the pen to not allow another run to score.

I'd like to see the Phillies score here. S. Oh in to pitch for the Rockies. His ERA is over 10.

Yes he can. Neris gets two ground outs and a fly out to set down the Rockies and get the save. Neris retires all six batters he faces today. Win for Nola. He put up 6 shutout innings with 12 K's before giving up the triple and double to start the 7th. A solid start and win for Aaron.

Harper 2 for 3 with a walk, double, home run, and Phillies only RBI. Hernandez also 2 for 4. Segura had a hit to extend his hitting streak and Hoskins was 1 for 3 with a walk. Only two runs today but it was enough with the solid pitching.

Great win for the Phillies today. Phillies will win this series and go for a sweep tomorrow afternoon.
