Looking over the Hoskins at bat, the two fast balls he took for strikes were pitches he might have hit. The third swinging strike was a pitch he is never going to hit. Not saying he shouldn't have taken a strike or even two after the 3-0 count, but still, I don't think I'd have objected to swinging 3-0. He needs to get the big hits going again.
