Did anyone get a clear explanation of why that play by the catcher isn’t a violation of the rule? It seems clear that it is.
Nice to see Marchan get on base even if he didn't quite know what to do there. And two straight strong starts with him catching Luzardo (boy, I bet we had some cold takes about him at the time of the trade).
