Pretty uninspired game. This is definitely a lineup vulnerable to LHP when JT is not in it and Bohm is struggling. Cutch, Hoskins, and Segura need to carry it because there is nothing on the bench.

Series win. Just need to get JT back and recover this weekend since we'll see two more lefties. Bradley should be back in the bullpen so they have more options back there and most everyone is rested.

Corbin figured to be a tough starter for the Phillies. Turns out he was.

Segura has cooled off and Hoskins continues to be streaky. No JT puts a big hole in the middle of the lineup.. As noted, we always want that sweep if they win the first two games, but it is a series win. Now to win at least 2 in Dunedin.

Eflin pitched pretty well after the first inning. The four runs on the two hiomers put the game away early for the Nationals.

Yeah, would be nice to finally win a road trip overall.

Quinn should be back too, which won't hurt.

I was at the game and it sucked to see Corbin totally shut down the Phillies' offence. Highlight was to see Eflin settle down after the first inning and strike out six in a row. Too little, too late however.

Harper struck out 3 times, much to the delight of the Nationals fans. Phils had only one fewer hits than the Nats, but couldn't capitalize with RISP.

Not sure why, but Eflin wasn't quite on in the first inning and the Nationals took advantage with the two home runs to get four runs. If the Eflin starting in inning 2 had been there in inning one, this might have been a close game. But it is a long season and another chance to win tomorrow.
