Good start to the series in Washington. Really need to win at least one of the next two to win the series.
Nice win. Offense scores six and had multiple other chances to score. Getting men on will usually pay off eventually. Pitching also does the job holding the Nationals to two runs. Anderson gives us five scoreless innings and looking back, it would have been good to pinch hit for him in the top of the sixth, but I really cannot fault Joe for wanting him to pitch the sixth. Chase just couldn't get another out.
