Great win for the Phillies to even the series. Going for another series win tomorrow night.

I wasn’t able to watch the top of the game and was expecting bad news when I tuned in late. Surprised to see that Walker has continued to pitch effectively, especially against a quality lineup like the Braves. Big win; gives us a chance to keep winning each series.

José Alvarado had not recorded more than three outs in an appearance since April 12, 2023 — almost two years ago. His fastball sat 100.5 mph tonight. Big-time outing.

The Braves haven't played well, but they'll always find their game against the Phils because of rivalry which has been really strong for years. Everybody will soon learn to spell "Schwellenbach", a really strong Braves pitcher the Phils face today.

Outstanding shutout effort by Walker for 4 2/3. Not feeling confident about Ruiz or Ross. I guess Alvarado is the closer, so be prepared for some inconsistency with the 100MPH stuff. Phils games are always better when the stars perform, like Turner and Harper yesterday. While Marsh is slumping, maybe he could stand a few games on the bench.

Marsh just sat on Tuesday, and both of his potential replacements on any given night teamed up for something that cost the team three runs.

I would not mind seeing more of Rojas even against RHP occasionally. But you could say the same about Sosa at 3B right now. Marsh has a .523 OPS, Bohm's is .396.
