Another discouraging outing from Soto. Kind of wish we had Vierling (off to a good start) and Maton back.

What is Thomson doing bring him in to put out a fire? When you need to bring in a reliever to replace a guy who has let guys on base in front of him, doesn't Soto seem like the worst choice in that scenario?

I like Soto, but for pete sakes,put him in to start innings where there are lefties due up.

good grief, a lot of looking strikeouts today.

Nola with a pretty good start, giving up two runs in the first six innings. Even with the 3rd run scoring on the homer given up by Soto, he still gets a quality start.

Not enough scoring today from the offense.

In the end, the margin of victory for the Yankees came on the home run. Soto with another WHIP 3 inning. Far too many so far this season.

Looking forward to some games at home. Especially looking forward to solid starts, shut down bullpen, and tons of runs scored by the offense.

It would seem to me the hitters who age well are highly disciplined, so as bat speed slows they are more selective about the pitches they swing at, focusing on pitches they can handle and not getting themselves out.

I would not be at all surprised if he turned it around in a big way...on another team. It's too bad the Rockies overpaid Kris Bryant so significantly- I'd love to swap those bad contracts, but the Rockies would have to eat like 40 million off of that deal.
