They waited all of 2022 and that team wasn't even good the first two months. This team is the best one we've had since 2011 so he's not hurting them for lack of an actual better alternative.
No team is going to deal away a good player cheap right now either. I'd rather see Nick try to hit for another six weeks than give up two good prospects instead of one for an upgrade.
I'd be all for a little more Pache though (especially over Merrifield). Otherwise it's time for him to go, and bring up a lefty to spell Nick.
