Castellanos seemed relieved, as did several of his teammates who greeted him in the dugout, to finally hit his first HR. Nick is a frustrating player, but I appreciate the effort he has been making to get out of his hitting funk, as well as improve his defense. He also hasn’t shied away from the criticism, which I’m sure his teammates also recognize. Nick may be stepping into a leadership role that’s been somewhat vacant since Hoskins’ departure.
