LSP is correct, Herrera deserves a chance. Unfortunately though what you want is that he has done so well in AAA that he forced the chance. What we have instead is our other CF either were so bad that we actually considered putting a pitcher out there instead or they went home because they didnāt like what was happening.
One could hope for a nice story of redemption here, but instead I suspect we will get a story of how Herrera hitting .200 with poor defense and no on base skills is still better than the other options.
Any chance VV is practicing flagging down fly balls?
