What is strange is JT doesn't have him throw any at the top of the zone, given his secondary pitches, you'd think you would want to use his improved FB as a "Show me" pitch to move the batter's eyes and set up his changeup - instead the FBs were mostly inside between knee and thigh.
Ruben noted they've been working on his grip, he's struggled combining a cutter and change so he went back to the slider. Wonder if they'll teach him a 2 seamer grip at some point, or how to get more spin on a 4 seamer.
