Phillies really needed a win today. Sad to have blown a 3 run lead but super great to come back to tie in the 7th and win the walk off with one out in the ninth. Giants came in struggling with the bats but woke up in these three games.
Neris gives us a solid 1-2-3 inning in the top of the ninth and will be the winning pitcher. Good start from Eflin, going six innings around the rain delay. He threw about another inning of pitches under the stands while action was suspended, so going six was good. Sadly, the bullpen seems to be stuck on giving up 3 run home runs to the Giants, but it is easier to forget when they come back to win.
Big games from Moniak, Harper, and Miller and of course, Knapp with the winning hit on the first pitch he sees in the ninth. Maton also had 3 hits today.
I'm sure the team will enjoy an off day tomorrow as they begin another road trip. The home stand ends up being 3-3.
