What we really want is for this to be like the 2007 team not the '93 or '83 team. I'd say it's somewhere in between the two extremes. A smaller, older core than in '07, but a much brighter future than those other teams - plus money those other teams didn't choose to spend.
I honestly don't care which of the free agent shortstop they get (or where they actually end up playing). I mean, I still think Correa might be the best one. The argument for him and Swanson over the other two is they are also younger. The best argument for Swanson might be that he ends up being the fourth choice (cheapest). Turner really depends on Harper's sway and whether the Dodgers pay to keep him I suspect.
