What's the point of trying to bunt with 2 strikes?
Down to our last 3 outs
Fact is, the Phillies have only two hits so far tonight.
Our hitters are not hitting and the Astros have good pitching.
One last chance to score.

Recall my 1983 reference.....
Call overturned.
I know he booted Altuve's hit last inning, but really, Schwarber has not been that bad defensively lately.

Kyle Tucker flies out to left fielder Kyle Schwarber.
I'm sending all of the mojo I've got towards Houston.
I think a lot of what we've seen the last three games can be traced directly to the fact that the Phillies had to play an extra round (to say nothing of a lot more high-stress late-season games), as well as the fact that the Astros swept both the ALDS and ALCS. They are deeper to begin with but the Phillies' best pitchers ultimately showed more cracks, while the Astros' pitchers ultimately proved the oldest post-season adage. There were exceptions of course but Verlander still ultimately had a better series than Nola; as did Valdez vs. Wheeler.
Checking in to be with y’all.
