And to let more negativity flow out (since my wife is tired of hearing it :)) we are looking like the expectations have finally caught up and now we will meekly go out of this series losing to the red hot wild card team which is what happened for the Phils a couple yrs ago. I am hoping we can come back and take this game/series however the offense is just non existent and the BP even worse.
Bases loaded and no out. What was your expectation?
Pathetic - now I know how the Braves feel, but atleast they have a World Series win to show for it recently.

Tomorrow you face Quintana, what hope do we even have from this lineup? Sorry to be negative, but this lineup doesn't inspire any confidence whatsoever.
The Mets got the memo before the series: Throw junk out of the zone. They'll chase it.
I mean it wasn't managerial malpractice or an easy call, though I'm also not sure Kerkering was the guy to use there. It also remains a big problem that Alvarado isn't trusted. But, in the end those are still Nola's runs and hindsight says it might still be 2-0 with an earlier hook (or 6-0 with a later one).
If the Phillies lose this series, how many heads roll and which ones?
But again it is asking our pitching to be perfect to make up for a non existent offense. That is unfair.
