Sadly Nola’s HR issues come back at a bad time with 8 HR in his last 6 games.
At least they are solo. That was crushed.
Positive thing is that these are solo HRs. Giving enough chances for the offense to do something.
Our offense better wake the heck up
Nola has to be perfect just like Wheeler in Game 1 to have any chance. So frustrating to watch.

Laughable, pathetic approach continues.

Johan Rojas grounds out, second baseman Jose Iglesias to first baseman Pete Alonso.
Philadelphia Phillies
New York Mets
That was an atrocious inning.
is this Koufax on the mound??? Get the fork out.
was that a total of 7 pitches...geez
So do you move Wheeler up if we don’t come back? Can’t have the season end with him on the bench. Rangwr has not been good lately, if we win this one we can risk it, but if we lose I would seriously think about going Wheeler / Sanchez

Sanchez has just no looked good in awhile, I think you go Sanchez on a short leash because if the bats dont wake up it wont matter who is on the mound.

Probably not as a starter but he would be available. It is not like Ranger is Bailey Falter (or even Sanchez last year). It is already a de facto bullpen game and unfortunately Nola may not be able to go three times today
What does it say about the group of hitters if they just go on a slump 2nd year in a row and potentially lose a series they should win?
Terrible announcers with interesting stat:
Nola has not had a ground ball yet. That is a bad thing.
8 K’s including 4 in a row is good
Francisco Lindor

That Dombrowski Is not a genius after all
Nola has pitched welll besides the two home runs. Pitch count is low, with a different approach third time through i like his chances better than going to the bullpen.
