Another borderline pitch not called out way that changes the count
God bless the ballpark and Johan Rojas
Great defense to shut down the inning
I keep looking at Wheeler's pitch count. He's at 73 now. I sure hope he can throw another 30 pitches.
Yea two more innings would be nice.
Is it possible we can get a complete game from Wheeler as I'm just not feeling comfortable turning a 2 run lead over to the pen tonight
other than JA
Top of the order, Phillies made good contact last inning, would be huge if they can make something happen this inning
He would need to throw approximately 60 to 70 more pitches for a complete game. I don't think he can do that.
Kyle Schwarber
Ball (92.7 mph four-seam fastball)Ball (81. mph knuckle curve)In play, run(s) (80.9 mph knuckle curve)
Kyle Schwarber homers (5) on a fly ball to right center field.
Philadelphia Phillies 3 - Arizona Diamondbacks 0
called that one
Trea Turner
Ball (91. mph cutter)Called strike (83. mph knuckle curve)In play, out(s) (88.9 mph changeup)
Trea Turner grounds out, third baseman Evan Longoria to first baseman Christian Walker.
Getting Caroll and Marte there is big. You don't like using any pitcher a third time through the order in a 2 run game but if you trust anyone it's Wheeler. I would not let him face Carroll a fourth time no matter what but that gives him 7 more batters to work with.
Can you call some more...Im asking for a friend
