Me too and like I said rooting for the Astros but the more mileage on whichever team we play the better. Especially since our own win isn't guaranteed.

With Casty in a big slump and Turner 2 for 11 in AZ, along with the bullpen woes, it would be great to have the home advantage, but at this point, I see the Astros beating the Phillies in 6 regardless.

Not sure why you think both those guys couldn't go right back to what they were against Atlanta. Just like Schwarber finally showed up this round. I'm more worried about the bullpen myself. But if you're that negative, don't you think they'd lose to Texas in six too?

Clearly the ball park in Arizona suppressed home runs. There were plenty of deep fly outs that would have been homers almost anywhere else. I'm confident wete gonna see some runs when they get back to CBP

premature talk.they have to get by Arizona first. does Nola have another beauty in his tank? I'd hate to go into the seventh game. too many weird things can happen and determine the outcome of a game.

I would add that if the Phillies win tomorrow they'll be 6-0 at home in the playoffs. And also, while I don't think it means much, the Astros had a losing record at home this season, and are 1-2 in the playoffs. Even if the Phillies struggle, if they are down 3-2 in the series coming home they'll have a big chance to force a Game 7. That was not the case last year. I suppose you could say the 2-3-2 format favors them if they win one on the road first, even though it didn't work out that way last year. Having four home games only helps if you play them all.

But sure, yes, it's premature. I'm not too worried about Nola, I'm worried Kelly might do what Gallen didn't and pitch a serious gem. Can't get into another one like Game 3, gotta get a few runs on the board early. The crowd factor should be more insane than ever.

After looking at the umpire scorecard from game 5, I'm not sure they aren't just making these up. It showed missed calls being in favor of the Phils, which seems really wrong from just watching.

Possibly, but I'm pretty sensitive to that. I think I'm fairly good at correcting for it, but one never can be sure. A different site had 10 missed ball-strike calls, 7 going against the Phils. Weighted differently...
