I'm not sure Alvarado actually did face Alvarez that many times. He just lost the battle twice.

They mentioned that Wheeler is very up front with Thomson on how he is feeling, so I guess that will be a big factor on what they do for the 8th.

Hoffman and Alvarado both have done some warming in the pen.
