And yet three blown saves against 4 saves over that stretch (as both middle reliever and closer), and also a 5-3 W-L. Relief pitching takes a lot of luck, even when you pitch well (his WHIP was .0868 in relief).
Suarez's WHIP as a starter (1.091) not that much better than Nola's (1.129), and his FIP probably isn't either (can't find the relief/starter split on that). Hopefully that means Aaron's had bad luck (rather than Suarez having good luck).
