Marchan does raise some interesting questions, he's probably a year away, but he has ML defensive skills, makes consistent contact, power was the only question and that's now been answered.
Kingery looks like he's coming around, drew two walks and his swing looks much better, what impressed me last year was his quick stroke, plate discipline was an issue, and he did look fooled on sliders, picking up the spin and spitting on those pitches is a key attribute of a good hitter.
Bohm is the real deal, just looks more impressive every game, power to all fields, makes consistent contact, is starting to draw walks, doesn't overswing, what's not to like?
Harper is back. Nuff said. Ruben made some good points, Harper gets in trouble when he uses his body and tries to power the ball, when he trusts his hands he's an elite hitter. Hopkins is different, he always had the stroke, but got pull crazy, when he started hitting the ball up the middle he took off.
I don't think Quinn is ever going to get it, that long swing is going to kill him - if he wants to start in the majors he needs to re-engineer that swing in the offseason.
Brogdon has closer stuff, 95-97 FB, good changeup and a developing cutter. Probably should have spent the season in AAA refining his stuff, but the talent is there, the command isn't.
