But I think a lot us saw a 2-2 month. Just with a loss last week and a win this week.

Eagles were INCREDIBLY lucky. When did we see a game decided by two blocked field goals, especially the relatively short one to end the game. The Eagles D was weak against the run, but I think the wosst performance of the day was turned in by the offensive coordinator, who has seemed weak in all 3 games. How many failures will it take to convince him that Saquon straight into a stacked middle just isn't going to work. Once he gave permission to actually pass the ball, the offense was chugging right along. The Eagles O simply cannot be the Eagles O without the passing game and passes over 10 yards open things up. Pryor may be ok at guard, but he isn't a satisfactory tackle.

It does seem like history is repeating itself with the players insisting the OC try a different game plan (and also possibly in another way with the in-house guy not working out).

I finally think I figured out the A.J. Brown issue. I think Jalen is naturally conservative in his nature and not a risk taker. Last year after the 2-2 start he was told not to turn the ball over, and he hasn’t thrown interceptions since.

He hasn’t been throwing to A.J. Because A.J.’s super power isn’t getting open, it’s strength and fight. Throw the ball up and he will fight to bring it down and get yards after the throw. This is the first time he’s had to play from behind, so he took risks and A.J. Came through. Last year the running game and the defense were so good, he could afford to play conservatively.

The really big question through three games is where are Barkley’s holes? He played against stacked boxes last year, too, and the line still opened holes for him. This year he’s running into a wall an awful lot. Do they need different play calls or different sets for him? Or are the linemen under-performing? Landon is playing hurt, and Mailata and Jeurgens are not even playing as well as Steen (who hasn’t been bad) from the film reviews... Will Siriani hold the line (and possibly Stout) accountable since he believes in accountability?

Don't you think this is quite the overreaction?

Stoutland is one of the greatest coaches ever. Mailata, Dickerson, and Juergens are All-Pros on the south side of 30. Lane Johnson is a HOFer who sat out most of yesterday.

Do you really think that this is a situation that Sirianni needs to hold someone accountable 3 games into a season (which had no preseason for any of those guys)???
