I finally think I figured out the A.J. Brown issue. I think Jalen is naturally conservative in his nature and not a risk taker. Last year after the 2-2 start he was told not to turn the ball over, and he hasnāt thrown interceptions since.
He hasnāt been throwing to A.J. Because A.J.ās super power isnāt getting open, itās strength and fight. Throw the ball up and he will fight to bring it down and get yards after the throw. This is the first time heās had to play from behind, so he took risks and A.J. Came through. Last year the running game and the defense were so good, he could afford to play conservatively.
