Being an Historian, one of my favorite films of his was "Waterloo" where Plummer played Wellington opposite Rod Steiger's Napoleon.

Another memorable Christopher Plummer performance was for me, his portrayal of the Nazi villain against Gregory Peck's Irish priest hero in The Scarlet and the Black.
