I have to admit that when the actors who played characters behind a mask pass on, their passings--fairly or not--resonate less than the ones whose faces we got to see (like, in the case of Star Wars, Carrie Fisher). I felt the same way when Kenny Baker (R2D2), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and David Prowse (Darth Vader) passed on. We never really got to know or bond with them. Anthony Daniels (C3PO) will be a little different since though we never saw his face, we heard his voice and he injected the character's personality into the role. But still, rest in peace.
