jimbomill...please do, I would be most honored! I have talking for some time now how the death totals [in the end the most important indicator of where this virus is headed] has been declining but those who wish to continue to keep Americans in a state of controlled hysteria refuse to report this good news. This week has seen record lows but lets just take Thursday's death totals starting with April 23, the day with the highest Thursday death totals and a period when we were going through arguably our most difficult time. And if you don't see a trend, you might not be looking hard enough.
June 18...747
June 11...904
June 4...1032
May 28...1225
May 21...1414
May 14...1756
May 7...2133
April 30...2206
April 23...2347
Thats a 1600 a day drop total in 8 weeks, an average of 200 less per week. And this has been consistent Sun-Sat, not just random day of the week. Yet, we are still threatened with lockdowns, still told to foolishly wear masks OUTSIDE when there is no evidence the virus spreads in fresh air, and still told that a dastardly second wave is right around the upcoming street corner so don't dare even think about skipping as you get near it.
And those numbers are not mine, they come from the two most reputable Covid sites online, the John Hopkins daily Worldometer [which finishes their daily numbers at about 9 pm East Coast time and the Covidtracking .com site which works in conjunction with the CDC and finishes their daily numbers at 7 pm East Coast time. I study the religiously because I want to base my opinions and beliefs on factual information and not on what Don Lemmon, Rachel Maddow or even Sean Hannity tells me.
And one more interesting item just came out of the CDC WonderDatabase yesterday and they gave these numbers without comment but are well worth some contemplation if you are not necessarily married either way to "I love Dr. Fauci and would follow him anywhere" or "I trust Dr. Fauci less than I trust Hostess to fill their cupcakes with genuine cream filling after changing ownership." [My view!]
The CDC tracks all deaths by causes and they noticed a concerning trend in 2020, beginning in week 6 of the year and continuing through week 23 [roughly the 2nd week of June]. They noticed that in 2020, as opposed to 2014-2019 [a 6 year period, not exactly a small sample size and for the same time period] they found heart disease deaths were up 17,647, strokes up 8,111, diabetes up 10,165, alzheimers up 14, 386 and pneumonia/flu up 4,353. In other words there 54,662 more of these deaths this year than the average totals for the corresponding 6 years. You may not find this significant but I sure do and someday soon there will be a reckoning on what has been transpiring over the past 4-5 months.
Because only a few things could have caused this...one, an awful lot of people who could have been saved because so called elective surgeries were denied, people were too terrified by the Chicken Little press that we hear on a daily basis to go to the hospital, lockdowns made people sicker and more hopeless than simply allowing them to go on with their lives while maintaining some sensible restrictions or the retrograde of Mars crossing over the path of Jupiter made Saturn more powerful in influencing the Earths access through the universe and it adversely affected ONLY Americans in such adverse and terrible ways.
Look, I am open to contrary evidence, these are not my numbers they are from the sites that our experts have been using to provide their expert advice, in a not so appealing dictatorial way. Oh, and one more number worth mentioning and today will be the magic day! As recently as 3 weeks ago the number of active cases of Covid world wide was higher than the number of recovered, a trend that was depressing even to an optimist like me, I am still data driven here. By the end of today, in the course of about 3 weeks the number of recovered will exceed 1 million vs the number of cases still active. Now if you have been reading my posts you know that as recently as 4-5 days ago that number was about 3-4 hundred thousand and climbing. Its not just climbing anymore, its picked up the steam of a snowball rolling down the Himalayas. I would call it an avalanche.
But don't expect to hear this on the nightly news because it would destroy the narrative.
