Though missing last year is a big part of it. Now someone like Mora who was in the DSL for 3 years is just an example of a kid with tools that never could hit well enough. We missed a year and now removed a developmental level (short season A) that is important for young prospects (less important for college players who could just as easily start in full season A ball in the year after they are drafted).
