Phils' pitching looks strong, both starters and pen. Turnbull seemed to lose concentration twice yesterday. A level stronger his previous start, IMHO. If he wants to be a starter, the opportunity is before him. He's shown how good he can be. Yesterday wasn't it. Worst case he becomes a strong long reliever. Pinto isn't invincible as he looked at first, but fell apart only after a swinging bunt for a 1B. He's got a serious sinker and needs some PT. Maybe the Phils will ask him to arrive in the 4th again. Marte remains a project, but showed his upside prior to last outing. Hoffman looks strong again. Alvarado reminds me a little of Ryne Duren - wild enough to break a few of your ribs - but with more heat.
Wonder how many bunts Rojas had to make to learn to bunt the way he did yesterday.
Congrats to Casty, a moment he needed - may there be many more.
