I doubt Sanchez' performance against the Braves went unnoticed, but apparently you and I think more of it than Big Rob does. May have to admit Suarez has more experience and more importantly, more consistency. IMHO, Suarez at his best can only last 6 or 7. Sanchez might follow him unless the Phils need to close.
Big Rob has a tendency to send his starters out to pitch the 7th, but If I'm Big Rob and somehow get through 6 with a lead with Suarez - OR ANYBODY ELSE - he's done everything I could have hoped for and I pull him. This game in particular. The Phils pen can easily close 3 innings against other teams, but what about the Braves? Time for these guys to show how good they are. Kerkering gets the 7th. Soto gets the 8th, Kimbrel gets the 9th. Dominguez might get the 7th because of his past performance, but IMHO, Kerkering is the better pitcher now. Somebody taught Kerkering to throw 98 on the black and otherwise miss well off the plate.
