The collective lack of responsibility is mind-boggling at this point. It's beyond yourself or your teammates or your family or your neighbors at this point. In the big, epidemiological picture, because of the variants persisting and evolving, Rizzo not getting vaccinated in Chicago helps kill a person in Texas. Or even overseas.
And people not getting vaccinated overseas or in Texas puts Rizzo himself more at risk.
And then on top of that people in the US are gonna end up getting boosters at the expense of poorer Americans, and poorer people in other countries, and the epidemic will continue through the winter for those people/places.
Still curious to say which team(s) actually does end up having its season derailed by this. Could still be ours unfortunately.
