Here is the full article on O'Hoppe. Interesting nugget. The new LHV manager (Anthony Contreras) was the Peoria Javelinas manager. He did get pretty good performances out of O'Hoppe and Stott.

Final stats:
O'Hoppe. 299/440/519. 3 HR, 21 BB, Only 15 K
Stott. 318/445/489. 2 HR, 24 BB, 14 K, 5 SB
Muzziotti 254/398/269 15 BB 13 K

McArthur 8.10 ERA, 16.2 IP, 21 H, 7 BB, 18 K. One bad inning where he gave up 9 runs killed his ERA
Crouse 5.06 ERA 16 IP, 12 H, 9 BB, 24 K
Jones 0.87 ERA, 10.1 IP, 7 H, 7 BB, 14 K
Miller 1.80 ERA, 10 IP, 6 H, 7 BB, 12 K

Note everyone had lots of walks so probably too early to interpret whether players have increased their strike zone judgement (or pitchers having control issues) as there were likely significant issues adapting to the automatic strike zone. Good season for most Phillies though.

Sounds like the kid is awfully mature for 21, don't discount him, the guys who "surprise" tend to be the one with great intangibles. He's been flying up the system the past year.

Here's what's weird, he's got no stats for 2019 and 2020 on the Baseball Cube.
Ok, he did have 162 AB at WIlliamsport in 2019, and then Australian winter ball.
2020, he was at the alternative site, so he got to practice against older player.
Still, he's well below 1000 PA, normal minor league puts up 2000+ before they make the Show.

An OPS above .900 with good D has to at least count as good, without the qualifier.

O'Hoppe (4) and Stott (6) both make the list but it is not a list of best prospects. More prospects that played better than expected. O'Hoppe grades average in most places, but remember that a catcher that grades as average defensively and offensively and for power is a pretty good major league catcher. Stott was expected to do well and did. Scouts still divided on the defense.

Latest winter updates. Not too much new. Muzziotti has been added to the roster in Venezuela but has not played yet. And it looks like Ortiz was done after his 6 AB in the Dominican unfortunately. Carlos Betancourt in VZ seems to be the best under the radar story so far:

Adonis Medina and Cristopher Sanchez not pitching that well in the Dominican. I think Medina is in the "hope he clears waivers but not really in our plans anymore" category.

Muzziotti has shown up in Venezuela. 4-20, 3 BB, 1 K. The walks are up here and in Arizona so a positive sign of somebody who really needs a solid OBP to compensate for the lack of power. Also in VZ, Giuseppe Velasquez may be turning into a pitcher to watch. Solid DSL season and pitching well in winter ball (6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 6 K)

Gabriel Cotto not pitching well in Puerto Rico. He was always a project. Jadiel Sanchez hitting .224 with a little power, but also disappointing as he had a solid season in Clearwater this year.
