It doesn't even matter if Bohm is ready, there's no chance they start his service clock. But they were targeting as soon as June for him, so if necessity were to force him up in May, no big deal. Let's hope not though.
I think I'm more confident in Quinn being healthy enough to get 200 ABs than year than I am in Bruce, who I bet is either on the DL or in the AL by August. But if he's cleared to play, he'll play. And won't look pretty doing it. I'd go with Haseley or Quinn against some RHP to give him a break (presuming Garlick stays in a strict platoon role if he's in the mix).
I still question the whole "let's make Kingery our 2B and be done with it" approach, not only because of the OF questions but because Segura is going to need to play some 2B once Bohm comes up anyway, and in a year that's riding on all kinds of best-case scenarios assuming we won't need him in CF (if Haseley isn't hitting from one side of the plate and Quinn is hurt) is optimistic. For all the talk of stability making Kingery better it's going to make Segura worse at the same time (and then after making him play 3B instead of his preferred 2B they're going to move or bench him).
All that assumes Bohm actually is ready, of course. Maybe making Segura the 3B and Kingery the 2B indicates they are not in as big a rush as thought, because originally the Bohm scenario presumed Kingery would just go from 3B to more time in CF.
