Jared Butler
"It wouldnāt be a surprise if Philadelphia moves this pick one way or another, noting Daryl Moreyās historical disinterest in building his roster through the draft. Per sources, Butler is currently in limbo with the NBA due to medical concerns and has not been cleared to play yet, casting some significant doubt at this stage as to whether heāll be drafted at all. If heās eventually cleared, heās worthy of being drafted higher than this, but it will be an ongoing situation moving forward that teams will monitor closely. Butler is a talented, steady player with a championship pedigree who teams certainly value, but the circumstances here could wind up beyond his control."
"Butler was as decorated a college player as youāll find this past season, a first-team All-American who has worked his way into a genuine draft prospect over the last two years. Heās a 6-3 scoring guard who can knock down shots from the outside, both directly off the catch and off the pull-up. He averaged nearly 17 points per game while shooting almost 42 percent from 3 and taking tough shots too. Plus, he was All-Defense in the Big 12 and generally does a good job of playing within scheme and locking down opposing players."
Trey Murphy III
"It is no secret that the Philadelphia 76ers need as much shooting help as they can get and they could find the perfect guy in Trey Murphy. He is 6-foot-9 with a 7-foot wingspan. He also shot 43.3 percent from beyond the arc, and he can immediately step on the court and make an impact off-the-ball as a stellar floor spacer."
Miles McBride
"McBride is one of my favorites in this class. Heās lightning quick laterally and is elite at the point of attack defensively. His game is all about pressure. He attacks the opposing ballhandler, then attacks when he has the ball on offense. When West Virginia switched to more of a four-out offense in the second half of the year, McBride thrived and looked like a potential high-level backup. He could become a starter if his jumper off the bounce continues to come along"
Max Abmas
"Abmas is benefiting from both his strong play in the NCAA Tournament and Trae Youngās sensational performance in the NBA playoffs. Abmasā dynamic ballhandling, his ability to create for himself and others and his talent for shooting efficiently with a high volume of 3s are going to get him serious looks in the first round. "
Marcus Bagley
"Heās got good size, is a plus-athlete and can make shots from long distance. The Sixers could use yet another guy who can space the floor."
