Rolen may already have, none of us know or should claim to know IMO.
You make a good point that the Phillies did put him on the ballot which is a good first step on their part.
However, I'm not sure why you will not acknowledge what the Phillies, the fans and local media did to Rolen. One player definitely has less power than an organization especially when that organization waged a bogus PR battle using some local media (and some of their own employees like Wheeler) to smear said player and influence some fans to turn against him.
Rolen handled it poorly and became very bitter; but what they did to cover their own cheap back sides was outrageous IMO.
