Probably yes if not sooner. They have pretty much exhausted the top of the minor league pipeline and what is behind that is a few years away. They have gotten good performances from numerous older players and it is hard to know how long that can last. Plus the pitching is showing some signs of injury wear and tear on the big 3.
They even called Seth Romero up who was their number one pick a few years ago that dropped in the draft because of off field incidents. But he has never pitched well for them. A college number one, his first full year was in the Sally league and he did not pitch that well. Then he had TJ surgery and missed all of 2019. He just got called up too when Doolittle went down and he had never pitched well anywhere and never pitched at all above low A. That and Garcia are desperation moves of players with talent who are nowhere near ready because they just don't have other alternatives.
But Juan Soto is so good he probably gets him into the playoffs himself. Since he missed the first couple of weeks with Covid he has come back and hit .425 with 6 HR in 40 AB. He is 21 and may be Barry Bonds good.
