I like the week 10 Bye, that is about the perfect time. I want to say it is perfect to get a bye before playing the Pats, but as it turns out the Pats have the same bye. My guess is that Carson Wentz can catch a pass too, it would be REALLY funny if they ran that play and it worked again. You have to think that Pederson is tempted, if it worked he might be elected mayor.
Somehow we always end up with a gotcha, and yes, 3 road games in a row are tough, but at least we end with the patsy Bills.
On paper we have a soft schedule (26th in Strength), but that is very deceptive because Atlanta, Minnesota and Green Bay are all much better teams then their results last year.
Unfortunate that we get the Giants so late in the season, they might have actually moved on from Eli by then. With Eli it is basically a sure win, without him who knows, they may actually find a competent QB in the draft.
So I know they make a big deal about Thursday night games, but it is actually an advantage (the team you play on Thursday both teams have no real advantage, but you get a half bye the next week because you get extra days to prepare), sadly our advantage is against the hapless Jets, which we probably dont need.
I love 4 division games at the end of the season, NFL is getting better at doing this, last few years they have concentrated division games like this. Great idea.
