Old friend Cornelius Randolph signed a minor league deal with the White Sox
MLB.com hits the Philles camp:
It seems the system comes down to the GCL and the two A ball teams this season. If some players exceed expectations, the system can make a big jump. But there is almost nothing at Reading, and the players at Lehigh will be more ML depth fodder.
Apparently Cash Case has shown up in Clearwater too. A bit younger as he is still 22 but was a HS draftee that stalled in 2019 and got released the next year. Local Clearwater kid so they might have needed bodies.
I missed that he either got cut or became a MiLFA.
I'd forgotten too. I mean, it barely registered on the list since it was also unsurprising. November 7.
Welcome back Sean Rodriguez, as a coach.

He has a very high-effort swing with an uppercut. My preference would be to work on making him stronger rather than changing his power approach--he would be able to reduce the full-body twist in his swing and rely on his strength. JMHO, Phils will obviously have to choose among many options for his development.
Anyone else terrified at that thought?
Hoping the new approach is better!
While the big club does not debut until Friday, minor league games start Thursday.https://www.philliesbaseballfan.com/post/3-12-22-phillies-minor-league-spring-training-game-schedule
In another odd twist Lehigh Valley also starts their season before the Phillies on April 5th. AAA plays a longer schedule than the other levels so starts 3 days earlier with all 4 clubs in action on 4/8.
Doesn't look like a very professional approach to BP - a lot of off balance swings to try to yank the ball.
That's what I saw, too, fish. Way too much effort.

Good. Better long shot arms with upside than soft throwing veterans whose stuff has no chance in the Show.
Glad to see that Moss cleared waivers and was retained in the organization.
Adonis Medina was claimed by the Pirates. He was DFA'd December 1st but was in limbo during the lockout. I had hoped the Phillies would be able to retain him in the minors but it was not to be.
This may have been posted elsewhere, but just in case ....
I don't know where else to put this, but MiLB is bringing back the old nomenclature (International League. Eastern League, etc.).
Was already posted somewhere but the fact that I couldn't tell you where means your uncertainty was warranted!
